Publishing SlideTour to eBay
"Publish SlideTour to eBay"
enables you to publish a listing to eBay with a SlideTour embedded in the
description field of the listing page. The sample resulting page can be
seen by clicking here. The following describes 3 different ways to publish a
SlideTour to eBay. You can choose any one of them that is convenient to
you.

A. eBay Item Number - Adding a SlideTour to an existing auction listing.
B. Copy Code Method - Adding a SlideTour to an an existing auction listing.
C. New eBay Auction Listing - Creating a new eBay auction listing with a SlideTour.

A. eBay Item Number
Using the eBay Item Number to add a SlideTour requires you to first create the new auction listing from your eBay account.
- From the "Manage SlideTours" page, find the particular SlideTour you wish to add to your existing auction listing.
- Click the link labeled "click here" (choice # 1), in the same row as the chosen
SlideTour (See Figure 1). You will be taken to a new page with a field which asks for the eBay Item Number.
- To find the eBay Item Number on your auction listing, open your eBay
listing. The eBay Item Number appears at the top right corner of the listing in the gray color bar.(See
Figure 2)
- Copy this number and paste into the required field on our page and click "Publish SlideTour". The SlideTour will be automatically added to that eBay listing.

B. "Copy Code" Method
Using the "Copy Code" method to add a SlideTour requires you to first create the new auction listing from your eBay account. "Copy Code" can be used on an existing listing (added by revising your eBay listing), or used during the process of creating a new auction listing. A SlideTour can be added to an eBay listing by copying the source code that creates the SlideTour into the item description field on your eBay listing.
- From the "Manage SlideTours page, find the particular SlideTour you wish to add to your existing auction listing.
- Click the link labeled "click here" (choice # 2), in the same row as the chosen
SlideTour (See Figure 3). The source code will be copied to your computer's clipboard and you will see a new page open up in the browser showing the copied code in a text field
(See Figure 4).
- Go to the auction listing, find the item description and click on the link labeled "Enter your own HTML".
- Click in the description field and either right click and select "paste" or press Ctrl V on your keyboard to paste the code into the description
field (See Figure 5). You can click "Preview description" to see
how the SlideTour will look on your listing.
- Continue to other steps to finish your new listing. Or if revising an existing listing, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the eBay page, then click the "Submit Revisions" button at the bottom of the next
page.The SlideTour will be automatically added to that eBay listing.

C. New eBay Auction Listing
A new auction listing can be created directly from your SlideTour account.
- From the "Manage SlideTours page, find the particular SlideTour you wish to create a new eBay auction listing.
- Click the link labeled "click here" (choice # 3), in the same row as the chosen
SlideTour (see Figure 6). You will be taken to a new page which will ask you to enter your eBay username and password.
- Create your auction listing just like you would on eBay. The SlideTour
will be inserted into the description field of your new listing
automatically.
